“Addictive forms of behavior of modern man”

On November 22, 2023, a briefing was held with students of the experimental group on the topic: “Addictive forms of behavior of modern man,” where the problems of addictive behavior among youth were discussed.
The problem of dependent (addictive) behavior in the modern world has turned out to be perhaps the most confusing and intractable of all those facing humanity. This problem especially affects young people. In pursuit of new, exciting sensations or in an attempt to cope with the effects of everyday stress, people often resort to behaviors that can become addictive.
For example, some people drink alcohol when they are upset, while others try drugs to experience new sensations. At first, this behavior often seems harmless and does not cause concern, but there is always a high risk that it will develop into a painful addiction.
In her speech, educational psychologist Anastasia Dmitrievna Kharuk updated students’ knowledge about addictive behavior, revealed the socio-psychological essence of this phenomenon, focusing on such an important aspect as the formation of psychological resistance to addictive forms of behavior in students.
